The story behind our name, and what it means for our clients.

That’s why we named our company after a sword: DURINDAL was a holy sword. It was forged by the legendary blacksmith Wayland, who embedded in its hilt the blood of Saints and a piece of the True Cross. That same sword went from his hands to those of an angel, who delivered it to king Charlemagne… who passed it on to his best paladin: Roland. With DURINDAL, Roland held off 200,000 enemy soldiers at the Battle of Roncevaux.
The name DURINDAL means “enduring,” “indestructible” or “strong flame”, and we chose to represent who we strive to be for our clients: not just consultants that provide frameworks and advice, but embedded partners who own outcomes and work with both management and the company at large. Not just sales trainers who come in, provide motivation and leave, but strategists who stick for at least a full quarter after the training.
